Description

WHO WE ARE: A welcoming community where women in product are inspired, connected, and celebrated

OUR VISION: All people in product have equitable opportunities to build rewarding careers and shape the products of the future

OUR MISSION: Equip women to thrive in product management careers at all levels

OUR HISTORY: Started by several women in product leadership in 2016, Women In Product was created as a way to connect women in the product field while also advocating for a more diverse workplace. Five months after the first casual networking event, Women In Product hosted their inaugural conference. Three hundred attendees gathered, but the 3,000 women on the waiting list validated that the organization had identified a critical need. Women In Product gained 501(c)(3) status in 2016 and today fosters a network of over 22,000 constituents and 27 chapters. Our annual conference in San Francisco is a sell-out event hosting over 2,000 women in the field.
