The URx Team is so excited to be continuing our Slack AMAs. Last week, we featured Charlene (Char) Delapena, our very own Executive Director here at URx and Head of University Recruiting at Robinhood. We had lots of questions coming in to the Talent Community Slack channel, #ama where Char answered questions all day.
Leading the university recruiting efforts for Robinhood, she is responsible for executing strategies designed to attract early career talent across the organization while managing programs focused on providing real life work experiences and mentorship to ensure career success. Char is also passionate about diversity & inclusion and makes it a priority to not only increase the diversity within pipelines but encourages an inclusive environment for early career talent to excel in and feel a sense of belonging. Char has spent 7 years within the university recruiting space managing programs at Robinhood, Quora, Coinbase and Dolby Laboratories and holds a Bachelors degree in Telecommunications from DeVry University.
