Qualcomm’s Campus Team is looking for a Campus Recruitment Pillar Lead to help guide and manage university recruitment for a specific technology area. As a key contributor on the team you’ll get the opportunity to make an impact across a number of priorities – strategic sourcing strategies, allocation planning with key stakeholders, candidate care programs, events to promote Qualcomm brand virtually and on campus, and execution of the company’s overall University initiatives. We are a team driven by data, strategic processes, and collaboration. You will be empowered to lead a team of 2-3 recruiters to come up with targeted recruiting and campus strategies to build a strong pipeline of University talent for our ever-growing teams. This role will report in through the Americas Campus Recruiting Lead. Travel will be required during peak recruitment season.
The responsibilities of this role include:
Partnering with fellow Americas Campus Recruiting Pillar Leads to build and expand strategic plans for Qualcomm’s early talent hiring needs
Creating a technology specific sourcing strategy to implement at various universities and virtual platforms
Reporting on allocations for your specific Pillar towards global program goals.
Fulfilling more niche requisitions specific to your recruitment pillar
Establishing key measures of success and maintaining data to showcase YoY growth and impact
Collaborating with DEI Business Partners and Research funding lead to build cohesive programs that align with Qualcomm’s hiring and DEI initiatives
Providing guidance, coaching, and direction to a team of 2-3 recruiters
The ideal candidate:
Has prior experience working in campus recruiting, leading programs and partnerships in a highly matrix driven environment
Understands the impact of using data to influence and has prior experience with metrics analysis and hiring strategy development
Is detail oriented and highly organized, excited to tackle varying priorities to support the team’s goals
Can build meaningful relationships with management and key cross-functional partners (Engineering teams, HR, Experienced Recruiting, and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion)
Isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved where needed (req fulfillment, event coordinator, program execution, etc.)
Experience with diversity recruitment initiatives and inclusive hiring practices
