WHAT MAKES US EPIC?

At the core of Epic’s success are talented, passionate people. Epic prides itself on creating a collaborative, welcoming, and creative environment. Whether it’s building award-winning games or crafting engine technology that enables others to make visually stunning interactive experiences, we’re always innovating.

Being Epic means being a part of a team that continually strives to do right by our community and users. We’re constantly innovating to raise the bar of engine and game development.

What We Do

Our Early Career Team is building the next generation of talent at Epic Games. Part of the Talent Attraction team, we are a diverse and dynamic group that cultivates global emerging talent from high-potential to legendary employees. Join our passion and excitement for creating realistic pathways into interactive 3D, and fostering environments where creativity thrives.

What You'll Do

We're looking for an early career events expert and educational partner to take Epic's campus strategy to the next level. As our Campus Relationship Manager you will bring a high level of passion and energy to diverse post-secondary audiences, to generate excitement and leads for early career pathways in gaming.

You're someone who loves to engage with students (you're no stranger to a career fair!) and you live for presentations. You'll partner closely with our university recruiters to put together seasonal strategies for talent attraction, events and conferences, and own the process from planning to execution. You'll also build and maintain relationships with global academic partners and universities, acting as the external face of the program, liaising with academic partners, educators and student groups of all kinds, as you connect skill building and education to employment at Epic.

In This Role You Will

  • Plan and execute tailored year-round events both small and large in scale, in order to build diverse early career talent pipelines for Epic
  • Design and carry out special engagement projects such as competitions and participation in major industry events and conferences
  • Lead and maintain strategic partnerships with top academic institutions, vocational programs, and diverse organizations. Liaise with both existing academic partners and form new strategic partnerships
  • Be an active participant in developing and implementing the yearly campus recruiting strategy with the early career team
  • Work closely with campus recruiters to match talent pipelines from event efforts to open roles
  • Build relationships with current and former interns to be a part of on-going events
  • Activate Epic network of employees to participate in events within our communities, and support and track results from these efforts
  • Partner with Epic's learning team on cross-functional events within education and UE evangelism
  • Work with third-party suppliers, such as event/scheduling vendors, as required
  • Manage student sponsorship request process. Process event/program invoices, checks, and expense reimbursement related to campus recruiting
  • Travel 25%-50% required during peak seasons, as Epic resumes business travel (currently remote)

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of technical recruiting experience within early career or adjacent programs
  • Deep understanding of the post-secondary tech skills market across North America, having built prior relationships with educators and student organizations
  • Thorough knowledge of best-in-class recruiting practices, principles, applications, and methodologies
  • Proven track record fostering and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders across multiple countries
  • Excellent project management and time management skills, ability to shift priorities and strategy quickly and with ease
  • Experience organizing small to large-scale events e.g. job fairs, info-sessions, conferences, etc. both virtually and in-person
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, experience and comfort presenting in front of large audiences
  • Exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills, can effectively partner across teams and levels
  • Experience and desire for cultivating inclusive teams, being a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion
  • Ability to travel 25-50% during peak seasons when the program reverts to an in-person model (currently remote)

This position is open in multiple locations across North America including:

Bellevue, WA
San Francisco, CA
Los Angeles, CA
San Diego, CA
Austin / Dallas / Houston, TX
Cary, NC
Boston, MA
Vancouver, BC
