Role Description
Reporting to the Emerging Talent Programs Lead, this role will be responsible for the overall strategy, design, and execution of our global Dropbox internship programs. This includes, but is not limited to the ownership of our Summer Intern Program, Year Up Program, as well as future internship programs. This role will work closely with others across the organization including Talent Acquisition, Learning and Organizational Development, DEI, HR Operations, Talent Brand, and team leads to deliver seamless and impactful early-in-career programming aligned to our company goals and initiatives. The ideal person is experienced in program management (virtual and in-person), passionate about early in career and diversity hiring, and eager to join a creative and innovative team redefining the future of early-career talent at Dropbox.
Responsibilities
Program Ownership: Manage, evaluate, and scale our current internship programs to ensure consistency across the business and a world class experience for interns and temporary-employee hires.
Execution: Drive seamless execution of complex and concurrent projects that align with global recruiting priorities and elevate the Emerging Talent team.
Project Management: Establish project plans, assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, identify appropriate resources, and develop milestones to ensure the successful end-to-end delivery of various programmatic initiatives supporting interns and hosts.
Communication: Lead and own communication strategy for all our internship programs, including creating clear and concise communication materials (e.g. documentation, team newsletter, Dropbox wide presentations) to keep the organization informed on changes, updates, progress, or announcements.
Partnership: Manage expectations and maintain relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and business leaders, to build rapport and credibility, plan, create, deliver content, and to provide and receive input to help achieve project goals.
Learning and Development: Partner with the Learning and Organizational Development team to improve the temporary-employee onboarding experience and build customized career development sessions geared toward interns and temporary-employees.
Presentation: Leverage facilitation skills to lead high-impact, effective, and engaging learning experiences for training host teams and engaging with Emerging Talent hires.
Continuous Improvement: Track and report on key metrics to measure impact and effectiveness of programs and projects. Collect ongoing feedback to improve learning experiences and programs.
Requirements
3+ years in roles oriented around program or project management within Recruiting, Human Resources, Education or related field
A passion for early-career talent and diversity
Exceptional program and project management skills; highly organized, detail-oriented
Experience vision setting, developing and executing strategy for large-scale projects or global programs
Creative and innovative thinker and able to generate ideas and impactful outcomes
Demonstrated success of collaborating with and influencing multiple stakeholder groups across different orgs and levels
Experience in a high-growth, rapidly changing, global operating environment. You can drive multiple complex projects forward at a time, and excel at time management.
Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills; you are able to package and present complex analysis and recommendations clearly
