Marketing Strategist

CTO in a Box is looking for our first Marketing hire. We are looking to bring in someone who will develop a marketing strategy to promote our product and services, as well as execute on these campaigns.

About “You”:

An ideal “You”  will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans for a CTO in a Box. The primary goal is to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and drive revenue growth. The role involves working closely with the executive team, in collaboration with the product development, and creative teams to identify target markets, create messaging, and execute campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the product offering and set marketing strategy accordingly
• Own the design and content of the public-facing marketing portal
• Develop and execute marketing campaigns across CTO in a Box’s social media channels – mainly LinkedIn, Twitter, and blogging portals such as Medium.com
• Coordinate and manage meet-ups and roundtable discussions for start-up founders and tech leaders
• Collaborate with the content team to set the tone of the company's content and value positioning

Skills:

• Deep understanding of Design tools such as Figma
• Practical knowledge of NoCode website builders such as Squarespace and Wix 
• Good UI and UX design skills
• Must be comfortable in a startup environment
• Excellent communication skills

About the Role:

We offer this role as an open platform to experiment with your skills. Typical for someone who wants to up their game from being in a junior role to a senior role, and even be elevated to a leadership role.

• 2 - 3 yrs experience in the Marketing field
• Work on your own schedule - Flexible and part-time hours - upto 20 hours a week
• Remote but NYC base preferred
• Compensation will be at $20 per hour + very attractive performance-based bonus
