The Role
As an Operations Specialist a Retrospect, your role will be to help grow our team, people practices, manage internal programs, and outsourcing support. This role will work cross-functionally with all internal teams to ensure that we put the experience of our employees. You should have an appreciation for organization, documentation, creating wellness-first employee programs, and excitement for building efficiently & quickly. As one of the early stage members of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to lay the foundation for what. We know it’s a big ask - so we’ll work together as a team to collectively get the work done.
Responsibilities & Capability:
Recruiting
Act as the point of contact for candidate questions / communications
Schedule all interviews and internal meetings regarding recruiting efforts
As needed, conduct first phone screen with candidates
Manage and maintain data quality of our applicant tracking system (Greenhouse)
Help to manage outreach and sourcing of active and passive candidates across all departments
Collaborate with the Co-Founders to build out new job descriptions, facilitate interview training, and expand our recruiting programs
HR
Creating and implementing new benefits and programs
Including, but not limited to wellness benefits, learning + development opportunities
Onboard new employees
Schedule and coordinate onboarding sessions
Collaborate with Marketing and Design teams to order, source new employee gifts + swag
General Ops
Organize and develop programming for team wide internal meetings and social events
Organize events + programming for Vendors/Freelancers/Partners community
Qualifications:
An understanding of the recruiting lifecycle and process
Knowledge / familiarity with with standard HR policies and practices
Documentation + overall process creation
Ability to lead internal team workshops and training
Ability to connect easily with others and be able to have fun and celebrate success.
Strong communication skills with a growth and learning mindset
Willingness to learn and adapt new tools
Strong analytical thinking and ability to make thoughtful decisions while building culturally-nuanced solutions
