Who You Are:
We are looking for a Senior University Recruiter to recruit and hire a strong pipeline of diverse early-in-career SWE, Product, UX/UI and ML/DS talent for our Twitter technical business teams in North America. The Senior University Recruiter will partner with the Global University Recruiting Manager, a team of recruiters, and business leaders in the areas of brand awareness, strategy development, candidate search, sourcing, interviewing, and process improvement. The Senior University Recruiter will work to ensure delivery of efficient, effective, quality driven service to internal customers and meet customer service level agreements while keeping the candidate experience top of mind.
As the Senior University Recruiter, you will be working with top universities and colleges to position Twitter as a first-choice employer for emerging talent among both undergraduate and post-graduate alumni. Internally, you are able to plan and prioritize against customer targets, manage candidates against tight timelines, use metrics to drive decisions and show results, and remain calm in times of high stress and volume. You thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment. You will bring an effective approach to problem solving from working on large scale challenges.
What You’ll Do:
Act as a full lifecycle recruiter, handling North America intern and new grad hiring for technical business teams
Think creatively around building campus strategies and execute against the plan with strong communication and attention to detail
Partner with hiring teams to create effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage internal and external expectations
Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management
Assess candidates within the lenses of the business’ talent needs, hiring team preferences, and role expectations
Possess strong ability to screen, interview and prepare a candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline
Recommend recruitment ideas and strategies that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, the continued evolution of the University team and deliver the highest quality customer results and best candidate experience
Qualifications
5+ years full lifecycle university recruiting experience focusing on engineering, technology, product, UX/UI, machine learning, and/or data recruitment.
Knowledge of and experience working with and navigating top engineering, product, design, research, machine learning and data programs at universities.
Strong client focus and commitment to continuous improvement; expertise in proactively networking and establishing effective working relationships, continually seeking new sourcing options, and developing creative approaches to deliver candidates to the customer
Drive big picture vision / long term approach and execute the details/recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management
Proven effectiveness in building and nurturing relationships with university officials and campus student groups
Strong communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills
Possesses strong analytical skills with ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team
