About the role:

The University Recruiting Specialist will be joining Robinhood’s University Recruiting (UR) team to help scale and support our university program. The University Recruiting Specialist will partner with our recruiters and hiring leaders to perfect candidate experience and help implement recruiting processes and operational efficiencies. They will also provide support for university programs, events, and initiatives.

What you’ll do day-to-day:

• Partner with recruiters, hiring managers and interviewers to schedule interviews for Robinhood’s Intern and New Grad candidates
• Provide an excellent candidate experience from beginning to end, while making sure that each candidate feels encouraged and informed regardless of the hiring decision
• Assist in arranging travel accommodations for candidates
• Support planning, hosting and executing on tasks for external recruiting events, conferences, activities and internal programs
• Source candidates using creative and effective methods to identify top talent
• Assist with multiple recruiting projects and initiatives
• Positively represents Robinhood’s brand and mission
• Help to constructively evaluate our recruiting processes and make judicious decisions based on efficiency & sensibility
• Track and update recruiting data with integrity

About you:

• Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) and 6+ months in a Recruiting, HR or Administrative function
• Exceptionally organized with outstanding attention to detail
• Experience prioritizing multiple functions and tasks in a timely manner
• An excellent verbal and written communicator, with an appropriate blend of integrity and friendliness
• Excited to represent and publicly speak at events on behalf of Robinhood’s mission and brand
• Creative and process driven: you’re constantly looking for ways to make things work more efficiently
• Ability to build strong relationships and networks with candidates, internal and external stakeholders
• Consultative approach toward clients and ability to influence others
• Willingness to step outside of comfort zone and try new methodologies and approaches in the spirit of experimentation and innovation
• Problem-solving and event-planning skills

Bonus points:

• Previous experience within University Recruiting and/or University Programs
• Previous experience at start-ups and/or tech companies
