Our annual conference experience designed to keep our community of University Recruiters, Early Career Talent Developers connected, inspired, and moving forward.

URx20 | Build Together

An opportunity to build a talent acquisition ecosystem that works for everyone, together.

We’re only two months away from URx20 and we’re thrilled about what is sure to be an incredibly immersive URx Conference experience. Thanks to our amazing program committee, we have put together a fantastic speaker lineup and agenda built with 5 clear tracks in mind:

  • Diversity & Inclusion
  • Employer Branding
  • Recruiting Programs & Operations
  • Recruiting Partnerships & University / Employer Relations
  • Managers / Leaders

This is the first time we’ll be organizing the conference by tracks. We are introducing these tracks to create space for deeper conversations, as university recruiting is a fundamental recruiting program that encompasses all aspects of talent acquisition.

Last year’s theme Better Together, highlighted the value of internal collaboration across recruiting, HR, and the business, along with shared recruiting techniques and cross-industry best practices. At URx20, we want to build on that momentum and the growth of our community. Wahab Owolabi, URx Founder & Producer, captures the significance of this year’s event nicely; “the conference is an opportunity to build a talent acquisition ecosystem that works for everyone, together.”

The theme for URx Conference 2020 is Build Together

I’m personally excited about sessions like Creating a Culture of Inclusive Recruiting in your Talent Program. With D&I top of mind for much of the industry, this will be an incredible conversation and discussion around how we can make a lasting impact within our roles.

A must attend for recruiting managers is The Recruiting Leader of the Future where Adam Ward and Jill Macri will leverage their decades of experience at AirBnB, Facebook, and Pinterest, and their consulting work with top companies to give us a view into what the next generation of recruiting leaders look like.

Building Connections for Companies & Students in the New Decade will bring into the room the voice of students, early career talent, and the organizations we partner with to reach them. We can build better programs and processes if we understand the recruiting world from their perspective. You can check out the full agenda here.

Trust me, this is going to be an amazing conference! The entire team has put a lot of thought into making this an interactive and immersive experience. With that in mind, we have integrated structured networking opportunities to give attendees space to make new connections, and yes, Build Together.

Lastly and most importantly, I want to thank the URx20 Program Committee and the Conference Planning Committee for their hard work and dedication. This is truly a community driven event and without them it would not be possible. Thank you.
