According to research from RippleMatch, more than half of student job seekers today lack confidence they will find a role they’re happy with, and many candidates are submitting over 50 applications in hopes of landing one. On top of that, Gen Z candidates aren’t sure where to find opportunities that match their skill sets or which companies are hiring amidst the challenging economic landscape. If they do happen to land a role, they aren’t always confident in their choices – around 70% of Gen Z candidates are open to reneging on an offer.
