This OneReq Circle helps you gain the knowledge and skills to level up as a leader, build strong culture, and effectively manage your teams.
Gain the knowledge and skills to level up as a leader, build strong culture, and effectively manage your teams. Discover and define the right management and communication style. Designed for new managers and emerging leaders who are running in-person or remote teams.
In our first session, we'll cover what effective managers do differently. Participants will define their management goals and shift the limiting beliefs that hold back their best leadership.
Giving and receiving feedback is one of the biggest challenges we see in management. This session will provide participants frameworks for giving and receiving both negative and positive feedback so that it becomes second nature.
Great managers need to influence downwards, upwards, and across to have meaningful impact. We'll discuss the secret to influence and uncover the blindspots that prevent you from communicating effectively. This session includes a personalized DISC assessment.
Most managers think they need to have all the answers. The truth is: they don't. In this session, we'll teach one of the most effective and under-used management skills: coaching. You'll learn how to empower your team through empathetic listening and open and honest questions.
Despite having full plates, managers tend to under-delegate responsibilities. Participants will learn actionable frameworks, including Task Relevant Maturity and Situational Management, for deciding what to delegate and how to adapt their management style to each person’s unique situation.
Conflict is inevitable and important for any team solving challenging problems. The difference is in how conflict is expressed on a team. Participants will learn the four symptoms of toxic conflict and tactical ways to create a culture of psychological safety and healthy conflict.
In our final session, participants will make a commitment to uplevel their management skills, hone their user guides, and share their challenges and appreciations.
