Atlas Corps is a leadership development organization that leverages international exchange to inspire social change leaders on a global scale. We were founded on the idea that talent exists everywhere in the world, but opportunity does not. Atlas Corps celebrated our 15-year anniversary in 2021 and seeks individuals eager to be part of our next phase of global growth. Profiled as a “best practice” in international exchange by the Brookings Institution and World Economic Forum, featured in the Washington Post and Forbes as a model social entrepreneurship program, and recognized as a Top 10 International Voluntary Exchange Program by the U.S. Center for Citizen Diplomacy, Atlas Corps engages global social change leaders in 12-month, professional fellowships at organizations (like American Express, Ashoka, American Red Cross, and Voice of America) or in a virtual training to learn best practices, build organizational capacity, and return home to create a network of global changemakers. Fellows supplement this real-world training through participation in the Atlas Corps Global Leadership Lab, a training series on the basics of developing self, developing others, and leading movements. The Atlas Corps global community includes more than 1,100 leaders from 110 countries and 300 Host Organizations. The result is a network of social change leaders empowered by professional development and cross-cultural exchange in the United States that is prepared to support ongoing growth in their home countries.
