We're looking for our first University Recruiter to help establish and grow our team in the UK! You're someone who is excited about building and creating a program build around equitability and creativity. You have experience as a University recruiter and relationships with Campuses throughout Europe, and are passionate about providing a positive and friendly candidate experience. This position will support full life cycle hiring for teams in Cambridge, London, Amsterdam, Denmark, and beyond!
The University Recruiting team at Roku sources and recruits the world’s best junior talent to join our company! Our program is all about recruiting the right talent with intention. Everything we do centers around creating equitable and inclusive interview processes so all students have an opportunity to shine. You’ll report directly to the University Relations Manager (who sits in San Jose, California) and help build relationships with campuses across the world and work closely with business partners to help guide their teams when hiring junior talent. You’ll directly shape how University Recruiting impacts hiring at Roku and pave a path for students to join an industry-leading company.
What you’ll be doing
- Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs, job goals, and requirements
- Manage full-cycle interview process for interns and junior talent across multiple pipelines and offices
- Create and execute an equitable recruiting strategy for intern hiring
- Manage and run campus recruiting events, and activities focused on attracting students from diverse backgrounds
- Build relationships with career service departments, professors, faculty, and student groups on campus
- Partner with Brand team to create employee brand on campus
- Help transition campus events and activities to a virtual environment due to Covid-19
- Serve as the main point of contact for students interested in joining the company
- Maintain pipeline in Applicant Tracking Database for statistical analysis
We’re excited if you have
- BA/BS degree in related field
- 3+ years of experience as a University/Campus Recruiter, technical recruiting experience preferred
- Event and Program Management experience preferred
- Experience processing candidates through Applicant Tracking Systems
- A passion for providing an exceptional candidate experience
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to travel up to 30% during peak recruiting season and work flexible hours when needed (post-Covid-19)
